La libreria é stata pensata su misura per lo spazio a cui era destinata, la Galleria di ARTE CONTEMPORANEA PICENA.
Lo spazio a disposizione era una nicchia di più di 3 metri di larghezza per 3,2 di altezza.
Il prodotto non doveva essere di forte impatto visivo nella galleria, in quanto lo spazio è destinato ad ospitare mostre temporanee di artisti.
La libreria sfrutta al massimo lo spazio e il materiale con la quale é stata realizzata, il ferro. Le lastre di ferro sono di 3 metri quindi i piani sono stati realizzati di questa misura ma conoscendo le proprieta’ del materiale sapevamo che rischia di flettere se lunga più di 1,5 metri. Quindi, abbiamo inserito dei montanti che apparentemente sono casuali ma che in realtà rendono la struttura rigida e interrompono e sostengono la mensola la dove il carico comincia ad essere troppo pesante.
